Henderson’s stunning effort for Liverpool against Chelsea has been named Premier League's goal of the month for September.
The 26-year-old midfielder's long-range strike assisted Jurgen Klopp's side to a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge as part of an impressive start to the season which has seen them lose just once in all competitions so far.
"It's definitely one of the best goals I've scored, if not the best," Henderson said. "I took a good touch, looked up and just thought I'd have a go." "As soon as it left my boot really I thought it had a chance."
