Shooting Stars Defender, Izu Joseph Shot Dead In Bayelsa

Sad news for all Shooting Stars fans, so so sad.


3SC energetic defender, Izu Joseph has been confirmed dead after he was hit by a soldier's stray bullet in his hometown at Okaki, Bayelsa state on Sunday.

Reports said the player was caught out at a restricted area by soldiers on a raid.

Although he was rushed to the hospital after he was shot, he passed away before receiving medical attention. His club, Shooting Stars confirmed his passing-on on Twitter this morning;

This country and its issues concerning stray bullets. May God save us all from untimely death.
