Herrera: "Zlatan Ibrahimovic Can Be Very Annoying"
Manchester United midfielder, Ander Herrera has unveiled just how difficult it can be to work alongside a player like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In an interview with Marca, a Spanish Sports publication, Herrera said the 35-year-old Swedish striker carries his aggressive will to win into everything he does off the pitch too.
"Ibrahimovic can be very annoying, because he wants to win it all - even at football tennis. He is a genius. He can say that he will score 30 goals and that he is the best because he can get away with it. He is so good that he can do that."
This seasonis Zlatan's first season in England, after previously playing for the likes of Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, FC Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris St. Germain. Signed as a free agent after leaving PSG last summer, Zlatan has already proven his worth as he has netted 26 goals in 41 games for Man United, including a brace in the EFL Cup final win against Southampton, after which he declared in typically majestic third-person voice: "The legend can still deliver."
Weeks after signing and without having yet played a competitive game for Man Utd, Ibra had predicted: "I won't be King of Manchester. I will be God of Manchester."
