Drake, Rihanna Lead 2016 American Music Awards Nominations: See The Full List

Drake broke a 23-year record by scoring 13 nods.

The 2016 American Music Awards nominees were announced by "Fight Song" star Rachel Platten and Joe Jonas on Good Morning America early yesterday.

Drake broke a 23-year record for most AMA nominations by scoring 13 nominations, including favorite rap/hip-hop song for "Hotline Bling," favorite pop/rock song for "One Dance," feat. WizKid & Kyla, favorite pop/rock album for "Views", and artist of the year. Michael Jackson was the previous record holder with 11 nominations back in 1984.

Rihanna is behind Drake with seven nominations, while Adele and Justin Bieber fall right behind with five.
