A Paris police officer revealed this in a recent interview.
According to Us Weekly, Kim Kardashian's robbers purposely planned a decoy escape so they can fool police officers who would attempt to track them down.
A Paris police officer reveal these findings in an exclusive interview with the publication. "They wanted us to believe that they were amateurs, but all the real clues point to them being extremely sophisticated professionals," the cop said.
Earlier today (Oct. 10), TMZ reported that a stolen piece of jewelry was recovered. It was initially though that the robbers accidentally dropped it when they were making their getaway. However, now we know that this was done intentionally.
"There is no way a gang like this would drop stuff and fall off bicycles — all that was done for any cameras that might be in the area. It is far more likely that they played around on bikes for a few minutes after stealing the jewels, and when they still had their masks on, before they all got into a van and disappeared," the cop admitted. "Thats why it was of low value compared to the other pieces in the haul."
The piece of jewelry that was discovered is only valued at $33,180, just a small fraction of the $5.6 million worth of jewelry that was taken from the reality TV star that scary night in her hotel room.
